Having worked as a realtor since 2004, Aaron Kaufman brings his unparalleled skill set acquired from working in commercial real estate in NYC to his hometown in the Hamptons. His savvied intellect combined with knowledge of the area is an asset few can boast.
Born and raised on the East End of Long Island, Aaron lived in many hamlets from East Hampton to Westhampton to Cutchogue. Aaron currently lives and invests in real estate on the North Fork while hanging his shingle at Elliman's office in Bridgehampton
Upon graduation from Boston University, Aaron went onto pursue a master's degree at NYU in their Real Estate finance program. So after, he began working for the Private Equity real estate firm Tishman Speyer in Rockefeller Center as a property manager where he oversaw the day to day operating of nearly three million square feet and regularly lunched with CEO's and CFO's of the class A tenants that leased space in Rockefeller Center.
After two plus years he went on to commercial real estate brokerage acting in tenant advisory services for office leasing in Manhattan where he represented prestigious firms such as Patek Phillipe, STHREE- a publically traded company on the FTSE, and many other high end firms negotiating every section of their complex lease.
Aaron received the distinguished Commercial Real Estate Observer's "30 Under 30" award and was nominated twice for REBNY's (Real Estate Board of NY) esteemed "Rookie Salesperson of the Year" award.
Aaron attributes his success to working hard and surrounding himself with the smartest people in the room. It was in his 8-year stint in New York City where Aaron learned and watched many of the institutional Real Estate firms develop, acquire, lease, market, and dispose of buildings trying to return as big of an IRR to their investors as possible.
Aaron is an avid tennis player and member of the Aspatuck Tennis Club in Westhampton Beach. He is a theater enthusiast and supporter of local theatre, as well as an actor and singer appearing in productions at the Southampton Cultural Center.
